PROTTLE (Problem Solving Battle) - Girls' Math Competition & Math Kangaroo

Join us for an exciting Prottle (problem solving battle), a dynamic team-based activity inspired by math camps in Slovakia and modeled after the international competition Náboj. In this event, we’ll use problems from the Girls’ Math Competition and Math Kangaroo to create a lively, game-centered competition that combines problem solving, strategy, and teamwork.

Girls' Math Competition

The Girls Math Competition is an annual contest for students in Grades 3–8, designed to promote problem-solving skills and build confidence in young female mathematicians. Participants work individually and in teams to solve challenging math problems. The event also highlights the importance of encouraging girls in STEM fields from an early age.

Central Florida Math Festival

The Central Florida Math Festival is a fun, hands-on event for all ages that celebrates the creative and playful side of math. Participants explore puzzles, games, and activities like building shapes, making math art, and solving challenges such as magic squares and the Tower of Hanoi. It’s a chance to discover that math is about thinking, exploring, and enjoying the journey.

Boys and Girls Club

We’re looking for volunteers to help out at our Math Circle on September 26th, led by Heather. Volunteers will assist with activities, support students, and help make the session a success.
